I've begun work on my first resin kit and I only have experience from watching youtube videos, watch me mess up!

The kit is the Rei "Yoko Cosplay" found here: http://www.e2046.com/product/11792

So far I've been clipping off the flashing and sanding it to look smooth and normal.

Now I'm filling in the gaps with epoxy and will soon be painting

You can see almost all my tools being used at this stage of the build.

Soon I'll provide a full update with pics of it assembled. I'll be cleaning and priming it so it can be airbrushed.

After a couple days of fitting, and putting "Green stuff" in between the loose joints to make them all fit snugly:

The whole thing can be assembled like so:

Then it's finally time to prime! or should I say... Primetime!

The priming brings out every little detail that will be noticeable once the figure is fully painted so it's time to sand everything to perfection.

I'm taking a break from resin kits for now, I'll update this thread once I start again. Next time it'll be priming one last time then onto the painting.
